...from the showroom to your home. Our service to the customer is different from your average furniture shop. Why? Because we believe that the service should not stop once you have bought a piece of furniture.
Typical of most furniture shops, you are left to ponder the task of getting your new furniture from the showroom and into your home. Here at the Craft Workshop, we like to do things a little different. Our service will continue right from the point of purchase to where your furniture is placed comfortably in the right place in your home.
The furniture products and service we offer
Our full range of furniture products are available for viewing at our workshop in Felixstowe, Suffolk. We work mainly with re-claimed pine, oak, cherry and mahogany. A small selection of the furniture products we offer :
- Various Pine, and Oak Dressers: Welsh, double door, glazed.
- Various Pine Chests of draws.
- Pine, Oak and Mahogany Dining tables and chairs.
- Pine, Oak Wardrobes.
- Solid pine/oak chests.
This is just an small example of the furntiure products we have to offer. Our service continues once a your furniture is selected and includes:
- Style of finish, we will treat the wood with a wax finish of your choice.
- Adjustments can be made to the size and shape of the furniture to fit exactly to your requirements.
- Additional touches to your desire can be made to the furniture fixings. Such as wooden handles or brass knobs and extra decorations.
Our expertise does not finish there. We also offer complete kitchen installations which we will tailor to your own kitchen. This includes everything from solid wooden or marble effect sideboards to wall and floor mounted cabinets. We fit the kitchens ourselves and we make them in our workshop to your required design, so we know everything will fit exactly to your taste.
We also specialize in antique furniture cabinet making and restoration. We offer a unique range of hand made antique reproduction furniture. Using only original tools and materials the items are made by hand from start to finish. There are only a handful of craftsmen in the UK which can produce antique reproduction furniture using these techniques and we have three of them.
