A little bit about us

The craft workshop consists of three professional craftsmen; Dave French, Clive Minter and Nobby. The business was established in the late 1990's after there was an apparent lack of retail furniture which was produced specifically for the customer.

After 40 years of creating fine antique cabinets Dave set about opening a shop which offered affordable, quality bespoke furniture. With his business partner Clive, who himself had a trade in cabinet making, they set about opening the Craft Workshop.

The workshop has grown over the years and recently relocated to a new home, a showroom with an on site workshop in Felixstowe, Suffolk. Since relocating, a third member has joined the team - Nobby, also in the cabinet making trade and a friend to Dave for over 40 years.

The Craft Workshop has continued to grow without spreading too thin. We deal only in what we know and are not out to make huge profits. We keep our prices low and standards high. The craft workshop, in a nutshell, formed from a genuine love for providing beautiful furniture with the satisfaction of seeing a job well done.
